Footage of the explosion at Liqeni i Thatë is being published. A remote security camera has captured the moment of the explosion that shocked residents of "Peti" Street, near Lake Thatë in Tirana, this morning.
The incident occurred at around 3:50 a.m., when the explosive material was placed in the garage owned by 39-year-old Elvis Kosova. The explosion also damaged four vehicles parked nearby.
These images obtained by "Klan News" show what remains of the explosion in the 39-year-old's garage. The investigative team has seized camera footage in the area to enable the identification of the perpetrators. In front of police officers, Kosova stated that there were no conflicts.
Elvis Kosova is a well-known name to the police. In August 2024, he was arrested on charges of theft, but after a few days, he was released.
It was an Audi R8 that had been rented in Germany by a Turkish citizen, who gave it to the 39-year-old. After a few days, the latter reported it stolen to the Tirana police. But after investigations, the luxury vehicle was found hidden in the village of Prush while the police stopped Kosovo.
