Footage of the serious maritime accident recorded in the Bay of Ksamil, where 22-year-old Albiano Kreçi lost his life after the boat he was driving collided with a Saranda Border Police boat, has been published.
The incident occurred yesterday afternoon and ended tragically for the young man, a resident of Ksamil. According to preliminary data, Kreçi was sailing on a jet ski when he collided with the Border Police boat.
As a result of the collision, the 22-year-old was urgently transported to Saranda Hospital to receive the necessary medical assistance, but he did not survive the injuries he sustained.
Immediately after the accident, police services and emergency teams arrived at the area and intervened to manage the situation. The area was cordoned off for investigative actions and evidence collection.
Meanwhile, authorities are continuing investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident and determine the causes that led to this serious maritime event.
