Greek authorities accuse them of attempted armed robbery and use of violence against a couple in Aetolia Acarnania
Greek police have published the identities and photographs of four Albanian citizens accused of an attempted armed robbery and violence in the Thermo area of Aetolia Acarnania, an event that occurred in April.
The accused are Romeo Qosja, Lefter Toci, Mariol Toska and Fatbardha Shehi. Criminal proceedings have been registered against them for attempted armed robbery on a repeated basis.
According to the investigation, three of the suspects entered a couple's apartment through a door and attempted to rob them at gunpoint. During the incident, they assaulted the man of the family.
The incident was stopped after the couple's son noticed the perpetrators, who immediately fled the scene. During their escape, one of them fired two shots into the air, causing no injuries.
Following the incident, the police organized an operation to arrest them. A vehicle carrying the female suspect was stopped at the Sykia intersection. Two of the male suspects were found hiding inside the trunk of the vehicle and were arrested on the spot.
Meanwhile, the fourth person was located in a rented apartment. According to authorities, two of the arrested individuals were escapees from a detention center, while another was out of prison on a six-day leave.
