Two people were injured after a bomb exploded in Përmet.
Two people were left crippled in Përmet after being injured by explosives, suspected to be bombs.
It is learned that the incident occurred a few minutes ago in the village of Grabovë, Përmet. Ervis Bregu, together with Mustafa Koçi, are suspected of having come into contact with explosives while they were repairing an old apartment.
As a result, Ervis Bregu was mutilated and was urgently transported to Gjirokastra Hospital in serious condition. While Mustafa Koçi was injured in the lower part of his hand.
The bomb is suspected to date from World War II.
State Police forces and the investigation team have arrived at the scene, and are working to fully clarify the circumstances and document the event.
