The administrator of the oil company "Bankers Petroleum", Chinese Hongping Xiao, has been arrested by the police.
After many scandals and affairs, the police have finally raided the company's offices today, arresting and processing several people. It is learned that former director Leonidha Çobo has also been arrested. According to information, the cause is suspected to be tax fraud scandals, scandals that "Pamfleti" has denounced hundreds of times.
Police forces, accompanied by a van from the General Directorate of Taxes, were seen entering the headquarters of the company, which operates in the oil extraction sector in the Marinza field, at noon. The police had to enter by force, as the company's doors would not open.
The largest theft of Albanian common wealth, most likely since the Roman Era, is called "Bankers Petroleum Albania".
Official data shows that the extortion of Albania's underground wealth by the Bankers company exceeds all the affairs combined in the history of Albanian pluralism (destruction of factories, theft of gold, sale of hydroelectric power plants, privatizations, CEZ, ARMO, fiscal stamps, fuel marking, alienation of military property, healthcare concessions, incinerators, the former Dajti Hotel, theft of lek used in the Bank of Albania, etc.)
The extortion of Albanian underground wealth was carried out in collaboration with all governments from 2004 to 2025, by buying off prosecutors and judges, media, associations, governments and every other possible factor.
Since 2004, Bankers has drilled about 1,000 new oil wells in the Patoz-Marinëz area. Over 20 years, Bankers has produced about 13 million tons of oil.
The company's revenues from oil production are over 4 billion Euros, almost as much as the annual budget of Albania. For 20 years, Bankers Petroleum Albania has paid zero tax on its profits to the Albanian state budget.
The agreement stipulates that Bankers Petroleum Albania is obliged to pay annual profit tax at the rate of 50% of the profit.
Bankers Petroleum has been manipulating expenses every year, fabricating and inflating expenses. After 20 years, the Bank's expenses exceed its income.
By fictitiously increasing its expenses, the company has avoided paying the state budget with profit tax. The expenses include the staggering salaries of the predatory company's top brass, the corruption of Albpetrol, AKBN, government officials, MPs, judges, prosecutors, etc.
Before 2018, the administrators were Suneel Krishan Gupta, Leonidha Cobo and Richard Ferguson. The only Albanian administrator was Leonidha Cobo, accused by the Bankers themselves of stealing millions of euros to cover up other thefts.
Behind Bankers Petroleum Albania lie several companies, but their end is in China. The ultimate parent company is Charter Power Investment Limited, owned by GEO-JADE PETROLEUM CORPORATION, headquartered in China.
It is not known who the ultimate owners are. But there is no doubt that whoever the Chinese are, they cannot make a profit from the Albanian underground wealth without the cooperation of our corrupt rulers. / Pamphlet
