Eraldo Muçi, 30 years old, known as the friend of Alkesandër Sadikaj, who was executed with a remote-controlled bomb a few years ago, an event that shocked public opinion at the time, has been missing for almost two weeks. The alarm was raised by Eraldo Muçi's family, who have filed a complaint with the Memaliaj police regarding the young man's disappearance.
It was a 73-year-old father from the village of Bylysh, who told officers that his son had left the apartment since June 15 and never returned.
According to reports, Muçi is thought to have been Sadikaj's friend, otherwise known as Sanço.
At this point, suspicions arise about a possible criminal event, motivated by revenge, considering the course of events related to the name of Aleksandër Sadikaj.
But the police are being reserved and do not yet have any concrete data or evidence.
Before disappearing, Eraldo stopped at the Sadikaj family's horse farm and then traveled to Durrës. He was last seen on the Tirana-Durres highway and has since disappeared. The family strongly suspects that he may have committed a serious criminal act, for revenge reasons.
Eraldo Muçi's father spoke to "Blu Tv", where he also gave some of the circumstances of his departure, when he was last seen and the suspicions he has about one of his friends who may have trapped him. He said that he is very worried and that his son had no conflicts or debts. According to him, Eraldo was last seen in Sukth.
"It was Sunday, June 15, in the evening, he spoke to his mother on the phone, asked her what she was doing. She told him that she was eating bread with onions, some small onions. And that day, as far as you know, we know too.
There was no quarrel in the village of Bylysh, there was no debt either. These two are the main ones, the debt and the occupation, that's all. Then, after a week I filed a complaint in Memaliaj, I went there 4-5 times, filed a complaint, documents, we have no information so far. No signal, that he is alive, that he is dead, he is my son. I have three children. There was no problem, no concern. When he left, that he ran away, he was seen in Durrës, he took the car to the Sukthi gas station, left it there for 3-4 days, a friend picked it up and took it home. The son had his own car", says the old man.
He further says that his son had friends in several places and was asking to be taken home, as he had not slept for 17 days.
"He has friends everywhere, in Memaliaj, Tepelena, Durrës, everywhere. It could be a good friend, but it could be someone who stabbed him and I'll find him. These are both. We are very worried. I haven't slept for 17 days, I'm 73-74 years old, what can we do? The son is 30 years old, he was unemployed, when he got a job, he went. He had a loan, I'm paying it off. I don't know who saw it, only God saw that job. I tell the friend who saw it to bring my son home," the father says.
The Gjirokastra Police also made a brief announcement after the event.
"On 24.06.2025, at the Memaliaj Police Station, citizen SM, 73 years old, resident of the village of Bylysh, reported that his son, citizen EM, 30 years old, had left the apartment on 15.06.2025. Work is underway to find him. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastër, for further action," the police announced after the complaint by the young man's father.
