Journalist Anila Hoxha spoke about the trial of the notorious hitman, Julian Sinanaj.
It shows why Sinanaj gave up cooperating with Albanian justice, rejecting the benefits he could have received.
"In one of the court trials, Julian Sinanaj said: 'I will not testify for Albanian justice if you do not arrest the master'. He began to unravel the threads of a spider, which was not one, but a colony of spiders. This time justice, was not with closed eyes, but with waxed ears and he withdrew from the benefits he would receive. Then he began to play jokes.
Albanian justice actually lost. In that courtroom, he said, because the doors of the court were closed there.
In the case of Sinanaj, he lost cooperation and communication with the justice system because it was threatened, but he no longer had confidence in what he said and was no longer heard.
"Albanian justice was unprepared for a new form of organized crime," said journalist Hoxha in 'Top Story'.
