Tirana police have cracked down on a criminal group that was selling narcotics in the capital. It is learned that 22 people have been arrested, while 5 others were previously arrested. Meanwhile, 6 other people identified as part of the network have been declared wanted.
During the operation, the following citizens were arrested: Renaldo Dalipi, Engelbert Pjetri, Armandi Hajdini, Olsi Mici, Fatjon Cela (Çela), Xhon Boci, Laert Murataj, Artan Pullazi, Erald Sina, Blerim Mali, Gentjan Vercani, Valerjos Bushi, Olkid Hajdari, Dylber Alijaj, Angjelos Mema, Majdi Musa, Jurgen Hekurani, Erdison Gjella, Abdurahman Bollati, Klodian Rrucaj, Indri Nakaj and Genti Kraja.
Police have seized approximately 500 grams of suspected cocaine, 10 kg of suspected cannabis sativa and 100 doses of this substance, 5 vehicles, 28 cell phones, 6 electronic scales and 3,000 euros.
The group sold drugs in various areas of Tirana, including Blloku, Kamza, Lapraka, Selita, Tirana e Re, Shkoza, Ali Demi, Xhamlliku, Pazari e Ri, Shkolla e Kuqe, Astir, Myslym Shyri and Commune of Paris. The narcotics were sold in bars, tobacconists, taxis and distributed camouflaged as various orders.
"After four weeks of investigations, the Narcotics Investigation Section in cooperation with the Tirana Prosecution Office has finalized the police operation codenamed "Labyrinth 2", striking a criminal group involved in the sale of narcotics.
During the operation, 33 citizens were identified, who, individually or in groups, were engaged in illegal activity in the sale of narcotics in various forms. For 22 of them, the security measure "Arrest in prison" was executed. Five people were arrested during the investigation, while work continues to capture 6 other citizens identified as part of the group.

As a result of the operation, approximately 500 grams of suspected cocaine, 10 kg of suspected cannabis sativa and 100 doses of this substance, 5 vehicles, 28 mobile phones, 6 electronic scales and 3,000 euros were seized.
During the investigation period, citizens AV, 23 years old, EP, 22 years old, GV, 19 years old, SC, 22 years old and R. Gj., 22 years old, were arrested, from whom various quantities of narcotics were seized.
Investigations showed that criminal activity extended to various areas of Tirana, including Blloku, Kamza, Lapraka, Selita, Tirana e Re, Shkoza, Ali Demi, Xhamlliku, Pazari e Ri, Shkolla e Kuqe, Astir, Myslym Shyri and the Paris Municipality. The narcotics were sold in bars, tobacconists, taxis and distributed camouflaged as various orders.
Six other people identified as part of the network have been declared wanted, while the procedural material of the operation was referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
