New details have come to light regarding the robbery that occurred at the OTP Bank branch in Tirana.
According to preliminary information, the perpetrator was masked, dressed in black and carrying a bag. After committing the robbery, he is suspected of leaving the scene using an electric scooter.
Preliminary sources indicate that the robber managed to take an amount suspected to be between 10 and 15 thousand pounds from a bank customer , threatening him with an object that at first glance resembled a firearm.
It is learned that the citizen was at the bank premises to deposit the amount of money when the incident occurred. At the time of the robbery, the money had not yet been handed over to the bank counter.
Police have launched investigations to identify and capture the perpetrator, while security camera footage is also being analyzed to shed light on the full circumstances of the incident.
