A serious incident with tragic consequences occurred yesterday on the Tirana-Durres highway, where a car accident caused by carelessness and lack of experience took the life of an 18-year-old.
Citizen DD, only 19 years old, has been arrested, who allegedly lost control of the vehicle he was driving, going off the road and causing a serious collision.
According to the official announcement of the State Police, the victim is citizen EB, 18 years old, resident of Durrës, who was in the passenger seat. Another passenger, E.Sh., 19 years old, was also seriously injured, as well as the driver of the vehicle, who are currently receiving medical assistance in hospital.
The incident occurred on July 12, while the arrest of the young man took place this Sunday, July 13. The materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action, while the police are continuing their investigations to determine the full circumstances of the accident.
