Part of the testimony of one of those arrested for the murder of businessman Mondi Mëhalla in Elbasan has been revealed.
The file, according to journalist Anila Hoxha, shows part of the testimony of Xhino Ago, the victim's former partner, who was arrested after the execution.
"Around 9 am I left my house in a Hyundai vehicle with the registration number AB 516. The vehicle is in the name of the company of a friend of mine, whose name is Nazif Bajrami.
The route I followed is towards the city of Elbasan and I went to the taxi offices, as I am the administrator of "El Taksi", whose offices are at the "Xhaxhi OIL" gas station", stated Xhino Ago.
In his statements, Ghino Aga explained that after going to work, he met Mondi Mahalla with whom he had coffee at the gas station.
"Then we went out on foot and moved around the gas station where the warehouse is located and stayed until 1:00 PM, during which time I was alone with Mondi. Then I left on the same road to my apartment with the vehicle described above, while Mondi took the "Range" and told me that he would go to Kavaja for lunch with his family.
In his statement, Ghino Aga explained that until around 3:45 PM, he stayed at home and during this time he communicated via video on WhatsApp with Mondi.
"Mondi told me that I will now return from Kavaja and in 20 minutes around 15:45 I will be in Elbasan. After this conversation we talked via video on WhatsApp where I told Mondi if he would come with me to Tirana, so that we could take Fatlinda Istrefi to Tirana, who Mondi also knew, and Mondi told me Ok we will go together and meet at the gas station, as I would also send my brother-in-law Urim Topuzi, who would install some lamps at his warehouse, since Urim was at his house".
