Bajri has been arrested in Dubai after being accused of the murder of Gjin Ndoji.
Denis Bajri, accused of being part of a structured criminal group, will be extradited from Dubai today.
According to the police, Bajri was arrested in Dubai after being accused of the murder of Gjin Ndoji (Boriçi), a crime that occurred on August 9, 2020 in Shkodra.
In total, he is charged with 5 serious charges filed by SPAK and related to the activities of the Bajra group from Shkodra. Specifically, Bajri is accused of the following criminal offenses: "Premeditated murder", that of a structured criminal group; "Unauthorized production and possession of weapons and ammunition"; "Structured criminal group"; "Committing criminal offenses by a structured criminal group and criminal organization"; and "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder".
The police inform that the details of the extradition are being kept secret and there will be another announcement regarding the time of arrival.
"The international police operation codenamed "The Wanted" continues, for the capture and extradition of citizens declared internationally wanted.
As a result of the very close cooperation of Interpol Tirana with Interpol Abu Dhabi and with partners in the United Arab Emirates, within the framework of the international police operation codenamed "The Wanted", it is expected that today the procedures for the extradition from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Albania, of the Albanian citizen DB, 37 years old, an internationally wanted citizen, with a very high social risk, accused of a series of criminal offenses in the field of crimes against the person, committed in the form of a structured criminal group and for illegal possession of weapons, will be finalized.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted, after the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime in Tirana has assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses: "Premeditated murder", committed in a special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group; "Unauthorized production and possession of weapons and ammunition"; "Structured criminal group"; "Committing criminal offenses by a structured criminal group and criminal organization"; and "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", committed in a special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group.
