A serious incident occurred in Lushnja, where a 78-year-old woman lost her life a few minutes after receiving an injection at the neighborhood ambulance.
According to the official Police announcement, it is suspected that the elderly woman suffered an immediate reaction, which caused fatal complications.
The full details of the incident still remain unclear, while forensic expertise is expected to reveal whether the death is a direct result of the injection or some other health problem.
The incident is now in the hands of the Prosecutor's Office at the Fier Court of First Instance, while the Lushnja Police confirmed that it is being investigated seriously. " The 78-year-old woman was transported to the Lushnja hospital, but despite efforts to save her, she passed away ," the Police stated.
