The absence of lawyers at the hearing has postponed the trial against former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, regarding the sterilization case.
The former minister's lawyers were in another process, which was taking place in parallel, which caused the GJKKO trial panel to postpone the next session until November 27.
Beqaj is accused by SPAK of "abuse of office", with suspicion that he committed actions that caused damage to the state budget and unjustified benefits while exercising his function as head of the Ministry of Health.
The next session will be held on the morning of November 27, and the parties' claims and the procedural requests of the defense are expected to be reviewed.
