In his testimony at the Criminal Court, Mustafa Martinaj spoke about the activities of his son, Vis Martinaj, his relationship with Bisera Hato, and a seized asset that, according to him, was donated as a sign of gratitude.
Martinaj stated that since 2008, when Visi moved to Tirana, he had been involved in licensed lotto points and had managed several gambling points. He emphasized that he himself had never been involved in gambling, while adding that he was aware of a conviction of his son related to this activity.
"From 2008 onwards, when Visi came to Tirana, he dealt with licensed lottery points. There were several gambling points. I myself did not deal with gambling. I am aware that the boy was convicted of gambling. I have passed everything from the Bank of Albania to Money Laundering," he said in the courtroom.
Speaking about his acquaintance with Bisera Hato, Mustafa Martinaj said that it began after the serious incident in the former Blloku area in 2018, where Vis Martinaj was injured and another person lost his life.
"I know Biserë Haton after the incident in Bllok in 2018, where a boy was injured and another was killed. The murderer has not served a single day in prison," he stated.
According to the testimony, one of the assets that is currently seized in the name of Biserë Hato was donated by his son, Ejlo Hato, with the approval of the Martinaj family.
"A property that is currently seized in the name of Bisera Hato was forgiven by my son, Ejlo Hato, with my consent. The forgiveness of the apartment was made because Eljo Hato, Bisera's son, saved the life of Visit ," Mustafa Martinaj emphasized.
