Police have released footage from Operation "Block 33" where 25 people were arrested.
Tirana police have cracked down on several criminal groups that were selling hard drugs in nightclubs in the former block area of the capital.
According to the police, during the investigation period, 42 people were identified, members of groups that carried out this criminal activity.
Of the 33 security measures ordered by the Court, 25 of them were executed with the security measure "Arrest in prison", for 24 people and one under house arrest. While 8 other people have been declared wanted.

After several months of investigations using proactive methods, the mega-operation codenamed "Block 33" is finalized.
Several criminal groups that were selling doses of hard drugs in nightclubs in the Ish-blok area were targeted. During the investigation period, 42 citizens were identified, members of the groups that carried out this criminal activity.
Of the 33 security measures ordered by the Court, 25 of them were executed (the security measure "Arrest in prison", for 24 citizens, and the security measure "House arrest", for 1 citizen).
Meanwhile, work continues to capture 8 other citizens.
1 kg and 964 grams of cocaine, 450 grams of heroin, 2 firearms, 29 cell phones, 6 vehicles, 4 electronic scales and significant amounts of money were seized.
During the investigation period, 9 citizens were arrested and 85 kg of suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa were seized.
As a result of investigative actions carried out with proactive methods for several months, by the Narcotics Investigation Section, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction, the police operation codenamed "Block 33" was finalized in cooperation with the Special Operational Force of the Tirana Police Department, to crack down on several criminal groups that were selling doses of cocaine and heroin in nightclubs in the Ish-blok area.
Within the framework of this operation, the following security measures were executed:
-“Arrest in prison”, for citizens AH, 31 years old, DG, 46 years old, AG, 41 years old, ES, 23 years old, JB, 43 years old, AH, 22 years old, SJ, 23 years old, MA, 35 years old, GK, 24 years old, A. Sh., 36 years old, EM, 29 years old., Xh. R.(H)., 30 years old, VQ, 53 years old, M. Xh., 24 years old, A. Sh., 41 years old, LD, 21 years old, JR, 30 years old, E. Rr., 30 years old, KS, 22 years old, BD, 35 years old., KT, 21 years old, SD, 19 years old, AD, 28 years old and LK, 27 years old, all residents of Tirana;
-"House arrest", for citizen FK, 30 years old, resident of Tirana.
During the physical search of these citizens and the search of their homes, the following were found and seized: 1 kg and 964 grams of suspected narcotic substance Cocaine, 450 grams of Heroin, 2 firearms, pistols, 29 cell phones, 6 vehicles, 4 electronic scales and significant amounts of money in lek and euros, which are suspected to have been benefited from this criminal activity.
As part of the operation, 8 other citizens were declared wanted, who were identified during the investigation period as being involved in this criminal activity.
Work continues to capture them and fully document this criminal activity.
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
