A new video of an Albanian prisoner escaping from Korydallos prison in Greece has been published in the media, while the 48-year-old continues to be wanted for the second day in a row.
In the first footage, the fugitive is seen running on Grigoriou Lambraki Street in the Nikaia area, moments after leaving the prison premises. In the second video, he walks among passersby unnoticed by anyone, before disappearing into the neighborhood's alleys.
According to authorities, he was reported missing shortly before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. The prisoner was working in the transport of bread as part of his job at the Central Depository of Penitentiary Institutions Materials and, under circumstances that have not yet been clarified, managed to escape.
In this case, Greek police have arrested two prison employees on charges of allowing a prisoner to escape. Investigators are examining all leads, including the possibility of an organized escape plan or assistance from external collaborators.

The 48-year-old was serving a prison sentence for drug trafficking and weapons violations. According to official records, his release was scheduled for July 2031.
Greek media reports that he was entitled to temporary permits and had already received three of them. He was scheduled to receive another three-day permit this week, which, according to media reports, he "obtained" earlier by escaping.
