A road accident occurred this morning near the village of Mashkullorë, on the Gjirokastër-Tepelena national highway.
It is learned that two vehicles, a BMW and a Volkswagen, collided with each other, ending up off the road after the impact.
According to preliminary data, it is suspected that the cause of the accident was the high speed of one of the vehicles and the moisture on the asphalt from recent rainfall, which caused the drivers to lose control.
Traffic Police officers are at the scene and are working to clarify the causes and circumstances of the incident.
