A serious accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on the Lushnja-Rrogozhina axis near the Grabjani roundabout.
A Ford vehicle hit a BMW X5 from behind and the impact caused the Ford vehicle to burst into flames. Sources at the scene confirm that the drivers managed to escape without injury.
The Lushnja firefighters intervened immediately and extinguished the fire. The technical team of the firefighters announced that the collision caused sparks in the battery area and then the rupture of the gas pipes fueled the fire. The traffic police arrived at the scene and are documenting the case while disciplining traffic.
Maintenance workers are clearing the road to normalize traffic. Authorities are continuing to verify the dynamics of the incident.
