The assassination attempt that occurred on November 11 in Rinas took the lives of Gilmando Dani and Muçi Shaljani, but the victims were not the only ones affected by the massacre.
The bullets did not even spare the storefronts of facilities that offered services near the scene of the incident, while only luck prevented the death toll from being even higher, considering the fact that there were many citizens in the area who were on the move or waiting for their relatives to arrive at the airport.
The show "On Target" also obtained the testimony of one of the people whose vehicle was damaged by the attack.
But while the police found the perpetrators' burned-out car, the scene of the assassination they left behind resembled that of a war, with shell casings everywhere, where bullets did not even spare the shop windows of facilities that offered services near the scene.
And with one car, that of targets made of numerous piercing bullets that, despite being shot in the passenger's arm, had penetrated the driver's window.
Muçi Shaljani was still breathing when a police officer and a bystander tried to break the car window with their feet.
A desperate attempt to get the two people left inside the car alive.
The car was initially said to be armored, but in fact it was not, which apparently the perpetrators knew.
"Muçi Shaljani, alias Mustafa Sheqeri, was transported by ambulance to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where after undergoing surgery he was found to be in
critical
condition, and died on the morning of November 15.
Meanwhile, the body of the victim Gilmando Dani was transported to the premises of the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Tirana, for further forensic expertise," the investigative file states.
But as we said, the perpetrators' car was not the only one that was riddled with bullets.
Since the bullets did not spare even random cars that happened to be there on the move, or waiting for their relatives who were returning from the next flight.
This time, only good luck was with them and did not turn them into victims as had happened in similar cases where the first expertise at the scene confirmed 89 bullets fired towards the 'Mercedes Benz' car in which Dani and Shaljani were traveling.
During the inspection of the scene, among other things, 82 pieces of 7.62 mm caliber firearm cartridges, with impacted primers, shot at the 'Mercedes Benz' vehicle with license plates AB 099 UO, were found fixed and administered as material evidence.

Pasi u bë verifikimi i automjetit ‘Mercedes Benz’ me të cilin udhëtonin viktima Gilmando Dani dhe shoqëruesi i tij Muçi Shaljani, si dhe dëmtimeve tejshpuese që kishte marrë makina me të cilën ata lëviznin, grupi hetues konstatoi dëmtime edhe në fasadën e jashtme (xhamit dhe pllakave) të disa subjekteve private, ku në oborrin përballë zyrës së një kompanie që merret me dhënien e makinave me qira u gjetën dhe u fiksuan disa bërthama predhe. Ashtu si edhe në fasadën e një hoteli pranë vendit të ngjarjes.
Një nga këta drejtues mjetesh që ra pre e atentatit ishte dhe M. T.
Makina e të cilit mori disa plumba, ndërsa ai po priste nënën dhe tezen e tij, të zbrisnin nga fluturimi i radhës, që për koicidencë ishin në të njëjtin avion me viktimat, që edhe ato udhëtonin nga Barcelona drejt Tiranës.
“Si pasojë e të shtënave të shumta një nga predhat ka dëmtuar edhe pjesën e pasme, të anës së shoferit, të automjetit të markës Volksëagen, që drejtohej nga shtetasi M. T., cili po lëvizte aty për të shkuar në Aeroportin e Rinasit”, thuhet në dosje.
M. T tha për grupin hetues se ai u tremb aq shumë nga të shtënat, sa nga frika nuk kuptoi se makina e tij kishte marrë disa plumba.
Por ashtu i frikësuar siç ishte, kishte lëvizur për disa metra, derisa ishte ndjerë më i sigurt.
Për fatin e tij të mirë, ashtu edhe të familjarëve të tij, ata nuk ishin ngjitur ende në automjet.
Pasi siç do të shikohet edhe më tej, predhat e armëve të zjarrit, kishin depërtuar deri në brendësi të makinës.
“Rreth orës 13:10 unë u nisa nga Elbasani në drejtim të aeroportit të Rinasit, Tiranë
me qëllim për të marrë familjarët e mi (nënën dhe tezen) që po ktheheshin nga Barcelona.
Rreth orës 14:12, unë mbërrita në Rinas dhe e parkova automjetin tim të markës Volksëagen, model Passat në një parking jashtë një hoteli dhe qëndrova brenda në automjet me bllokazh. Por ndërsa po prisja familjarët e mi dëgjova disa zhurma (krisma) të njëpasnjëshme dhe për shkak se u tremba ula kokën dhe vazhdova lëvizjen me automjetin tim për rreth 30-40 metra në drejtim të Tiranës.
Pasi ndalova dhe zbrita nga automjeti pashë që u afruar shumë njerëz, të cilët pyesnin njëri tjetrin se çfarë kishte ndodhur. Në këtë moment unë pashë se makina ime kishte marrë dy dëmtime (vrima)”, ka rrëfyer ai.
M. T tha më tej se ai nuk e kishte parë skenën e krimit, pasi në çastin që autorët po qëllonin drejt automjetit ‘Mercedes Benz’, ku udhëtonin Gilmando Dani dhe Muçi Shaljani, ai kishte qenë duke parë telefonin.
"MT told the investigation team that at the moment he heard the shots he was looking at his phone and had not noticed the actions of the perpetrators.
During the initial inspection of his vehicle, two damages were identified, such as those caused by the passage of firearm shells, and a shell casing similar to those from firearms was also found.
"While during the inspection of this vehicle at the premises of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, it was possible to extract another gray shell core," the file states.
One of the eyewitnesses who was questioned about the event was AZ, who at the moment when the dynamics of the assassination were unfolding was in his office at the company where he was employed, where he was able to watch the entire development of the dynamics of the crime.
"I was sitting at my desk in my office at the company where I work, when I heard a creaking of the glass facade.
Initially, I thought that these noises were due to the works being carried out at the airport. But after I got up, I saw a 'Toyota' vehicle parked on the roundabout, on the other side of the road, from the side of the old terminal, a dark-colored semi-off-road vehicle, from which two or three masked and armed people got out and started shooting at a white 'Mercedes Benz' vehicle. I also saw that one of the perpetrators slipped on the grass of the roundabout, but then they all got into the 'Toyota' vehicle and quickly left the scene./ InShënjestër
