A brief explanation for Besart Xhaferi, about those who "have been
Sali Berisha and Besart Xhaferi

That was enough for all the people on the periphery of the DP to stand up, demand their lynching, and once again come out in defense of Berisha, so that "no one moves his chair."

The oldest and most destructive tradition in the Democratic Party, which has become the main mechanism for career advancement within it, is that of "standing by Sali Berisha in difficult times."

It has been like this since 1992.

When Berisha first faced his critics, Gramoz Pashko, Preç Zogaj, Arben Imami and Neritan Ceka, those who sided with him were immediately rewarded: they became ministers, heads of institutions and took key positions in the DP.

After they took all the power they had dreamed of, protecting Berisha from "internal enemies" who, according to him, had been introduced by Ramiz Alia, after a few years they realized that they had protected a political monster.

And little by little, everyone began to confront him.

The first was Eduard Selami, who put Berisha in a difficult position after losing the referendum on the Constitution, demanding the resignation of the government and the merging of the post of prime minister with that of the leader of the Democratic Party.

Again, at that time, "those who stood by Mr. Berisha in difficult days" emerged, the DP Youth Forum.

They, too, were later integrated into the 1996 parliamentary group and into the leadership of the Democratic Party.

Then came the riots of 1997, and most of Berisha's government, notably those who had supported him most strongly in 1992, turned against him.

Berisha was left with a handful of people.

Pollo and Azem Hajdari, who had returned to the DP, were the only ones accompanying him, traveling in the same car, but dreaming of how to get rid of each other and both of them together, Berisha.

In the end, Berisha won the game. In 1998, he got rid of Azemi and in 1999, Pollo.

Those who stood by him in those difficult moments were some of the old figures remaining in the DP, as second echelons, and some young people like Topi, Mustafaj or Ngjela, who approached him as "young intellectuals".

He also involved these in battle with each other, getting rid of them within a decade, and in 2005 he relied on the new generation of the KOP, his daughter's political guards in the DP.

Among them, Lulzim Basha stood out, to whom he decided to give everything.

After a problematic 8-year government, completely under the control of his son and daughter, their friends took power, expelling all those who had once "been Berisha's masters."

When he lost in 2013, Berisha was calm because he had left the party to his children, with a loyal representative like Lulzim Basha.

He was never upset that Basha lost regularly in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021.

He justified all of Basha's losses, defended them, and even called them "the heroism of a politician with perspective."

His declaration as persona non grata by the US was enough for Basha to be forced to choose between the US and Berisha, and he chose the US.

Then Berisha turned his claws on his property: the Democratic Party.

Those who stood by him in that difficult moment were once again the DP Youth Forum, led by Këlliçi, and the permanent guards of the opposition: Noka, Vokshi and Paloka.

After receiving the DP's seal and logo, Berisha lost the 2023 and 2025 elections without Basha.

Now all the accusations he had made against Basha fall on his face, but he is not upset because in his head "PD is still alive."

Today, those who succeeded in the difficult days of 2002, like Këlliçi, Xhaferi and others, are simply reminding them that when they succeeded, they established certain rules that must be respected.

That was enough for all the people on the periphery of the DP to stand up, demand their lynching, and once again come out in defense of Berisha, so that "no one moves his chair."

In the Democratic Party, losing elections or being unable to win with Berisha is not a problem.

The problem is the fear that someone might want to remove Berisha.

Therefore, the leader of the FRPD, Besart Xhaferi, will have trouble.

The situation is so serious that Berisha was forced to make it clear publicly that he will not respect the "Basha article" that he himself inserted into the statute - an article that stipulates that if the president loses the elections, he must resign, even if he claims they were rigged.

So, nothing new is happening in the DP.

It is the endless repetition of the same cycle: the people who have proven to be Berisha's masters in a previous battle become his victims, and new "fakes" emerge in their place.

In this whole story, it seems like Berisha always wins, because he stays there and the others leave.

But in fact, the only winners are those who run away from it.

Those who escape that political madness and leave him alone in the "eternal difficult days" that he himself creates.

When he has no one left, there will always be someone from the government to stand by him, so he doesn't seem alone.

Don't worry about his fate, the government won't let him die or escape.

But whoever flees, saves himself.

Because the DP cannot save him from Berisha.

Therefore, take it easy.

You are not losing anything valuable.

You are losing Sali Berisha and when you lose him, you will finally understand what you have gained.
