Even though it is a poisonous fruit that undermines the health of politics, that denatures it, that plunges Albanian society into a spiral of cruelty, tension, mud and extreme relativization of evil by erasing the virtual boundaries between truth and lies.
The latest duel between the two Ss of the DP, Saliu and Salianj, is the next stone in this type of dramatic domino. The first, the creator and inventor of this political patent, as soon as they crossed paths with his former deputy, rewrote his CV with his favorite mud. The pyramid of accusations of the first S in the name, for the second S in the surname, ranged from the traditional menu of being a sellout to Rama to inappropriate "friendships" with people from the underworld.
The second's response was also symmetrical. Berisha is in a bargain with Rama, but at a much higher price and is in criminal ties certified by the partners' court.
This is the same text that has accompanied the entire political discussion/debate in the country for years. But over time, with changing interests, the calibration of the Doctor's sword tongue changed. Devils turned into angels and vice versa. After these two men, almost everyone else has done the same thing in an identical manner. Almost everyone without exception, almost everyone against everyone.
Raise and lower, kick and pass, punish and rehabilitate, stab with a rough sword and heal with delicate language, the same characters bathe in the same foaming swamp of accusations that would be enough for each of them to spend the day at home and the night and life in a cell. But the problem is not in their lack of coherence. Nor in the mockery of memory. Nor in the crazy kaleidoscope of personal reality. Nor even in the unconditional surrender of the morality of a society conditioned by the interest of the individual with power.
The problem lies in a single detail. In the solution of a single dilemma. What if each of them is right about what they have been saying for years about the next enemy partner. What if each of them tells the truth in the desperate tango of exchanging these criminal accusations? God, save Albania from Albanians who know what they say and do and do and want to do, not what they say!
