Ervis Martinaj was eliminated and immediately after his elimination, as if by magic, new businessmen began to appear from Durrës to Vlora. No one had seen them before. They had no history, no declared income, no activity that justified what happened next. But within a short time, they became major investors. Hundreds of millions of euros in construction. Hotels, apartment complexes, coastal properties. Without anyone asking where they got the money.
Because everyone knew it. They were the bosses. The bosses of a group, the largest handful of the main characters of the criminal world. And they were all rewarded without exception, precisely after the "king of gambling", Ervis Martinaj, was killed.
The question is not who rewarded them. The question is: why were they rewarded exactly after his elimination?
It was precisely the people of Ergys Agas and Olsi Rama who, immediately after the denunciation of Vis Martinaj's family, began to speak openly. In their narrow circles, in meetings behind closed doors, they said that they had seen a video. Video of Ervis Martinaj's body cut into pieces. And that a group from Vlora had this video. Information about Vis Martinaj's dismembered body began to circulate in the circles and was then distributed through the government's mouthpiece, Baton Haxhiu.
The question is simple: how could Ergys Agas's people know such details, while SPAK knew nothing? How could such a video be openly discussed in underground circles, while Albanian institutions maintained absolute silence?
Vlora is not a coincidence in this story. It was in Vlora that the video was available. It was in Vlora that the group that obtained the most evidence of this murder had its connections. And it was in Vlora, after Martinaj's elimination, that the young businessmen, the rewarded prestanomëts, exploded like mushrooms after the rain.
Lidhjet e Ergys Agasit në Vlorë janë të forta. Aq të forta sa askush nuk guxon të flasë. Aq të forta sa ata që dinë të vërtetën e mbajnë për vete, sepse e dinë çmimin që paguhet kur flet.
Por diçka tjetër e bën Vlorën kyçe në këtë histori. Diçka që lidhet me të kaluarën e vetë Martinajt. Sepse mbreti i kumarit nuk ishte thjesht një biznesmen lojrash fati. Ai mbante blloqe. Blloqe ku shënonte gjithçka. Emra, data, marrëveshje, përqindje, lidhje. Ai dinte se kush i detyrohej atij dhe ai dinte se kujt i detyrohej ai. Dhe ato blloqe, pas zhdukjes së tij, nuk janë gjetur kurrë.

Ergys Agasi mori në dorë çelësat e shtetit shqiptar për tre vite pas eliminimit të Martinajt. Ai që hyri në biznes me 1000 euro doli me 500 milionë euro. Prestanomët e tij ndërtojnë kulla nga Durrësi në Vlorë.
Tre drejtorë policie kanë kaluar që nga zhdukja e Martinajt, Gledis Nano, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, Ilir Proda, dhe asnjëri nuk dha një përgjigje përfundimtare. Tre drejtues të SPAK-ut kanë ndryshuar, Arben Kraja, Altin Dumani, Klodian Braho, dhe asnjëri nuk tha se çfarë ndodhi me të vërtetë me Ervis Martinajn.
Policia deklaron se nuk flet pa prova. SPAK vepron pa folur. Politika kërkon përgjigje, por nuk mban përgjegjësi për mungesën e tyre.
Por kjo nuk është thjesht mungesë informacioni por mungesë vullneti. Sepse kur një çështje mbetet e hapur për vite, pavarësisht ndërrimit të drejtuesve, pavarësisht veprimeve penale, pavarësisht se në qarqet e nëndheshme flitet hapur për video me trupa të copëtuar, atëherë lind dyshimi i arsyeshëm se heshtja nuk është pasojë e mungesës së informacionit, por e peshës së tij.
Sepse nëse blloqet e Martinajt do të dilnin në dritë, ata që urdhëruan vrasjen e tij nuk do të flinin më të qetë. Dhe ata që u shpërblyen pas eliminimit të tij do të duhej të përgjigjeshin se nga i morën paratë për ato investime miliarda.
A do ta zbulojnë të vërtetën?
Pyetja nuk është nëse ka prova. Prova ka. Dëshmi ka. Raportet e SHISH, gjurmimet e policisë, pamjet filmike, dëshmitarët që flasin në prapaskenë. Gjithçka është aty.
A do të guxojë dikush t'i prekë ato prova?
Kjo histori nuk flet vetëm për një vrasje por për mënyrën se si funksionon pushteti në këtë vend. Flet për prestanomët që shpërblehen pas çdo pune të kryer. Flet për blloqet që askush nuk i kërkon dot, sepse aty shkruhen emrat që nuk duhen prekur.
