The departure from the position of Speaker of the Parliament seems to have brought "blessings" to Lindita Nikolla. She left with the excuse that she was ill, but since then she has remained in the shadows. However, behind the scenes, Nikolla seems to have become incredibly rich.
The former Speaker of the Parliament and Socialist Party MP, results in a considerable increase in real estate assets in the 2024 declaration to the HIDAA, where the acquisition of several properties through inheritance, shared in co-ownership with her husband, stands out.
According to the declaration data, Nikolla has acquired a number of real estate assets, including two garages with an area of 16.88 m² and 16.80 m², two units with an area of 34.14 m² and 133.26 m², as well as two apartments with an area of 104.36 m² and 77.70 m². All of these assets have been declared as a source of inheritance and with a 50% taxable share, which means co-ownership with his spouse.
In this way, the family's asset portfolio has expanded significantly over the last year, with several new properties distributed equally between Nikola and her husband.
On the other hand, the husband's declaration also shows changes in assets. He owned two properties of the land plus building type, with an area of 240 m² and 188.5 m², which he no longer owns after November 7, 2024, according to documents related to entrepreneurial contracts.
When she was Speaker of the Parliament, Nikolla was accused of having benefited from a villa. Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha denounced her for having received a villa for 1.1 million euros in the block of luxury villas in Lundë. Nikolla herself denied the news.
