Iranian state media reported explosions in Bandar Abbas, Iran's main port, while fighter jets and anti-aircraft fire were heard in Kermanshah province.
According to the Iranian state news agency Fars, several explosions were heard in Bandar Abbas, one of the country's most important maritime and commercial hubs. So far, Iranian authorities have not determined the exact location of the explosions and there is no official information about damage or casualties.
At the same time, local reports speak of military activity in the western province of Kermanshah, where fighter jets and anti-aircraft systems have been heard operating.
