
Two captured Ukrainian soldiers have been executed by Russian troops in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Ukrainian organization "Deep State" reported.
The Russian soldiers who carried out the execution were reportedly eliminated about 20 minutes later by a Ukrainian drone. The footage is being widely circulated in Ukrainian media and has prompted strong official reactions.
Dmytro Lubinets, the People's Advocate for Human Rights in Ukraine, strongly condemned the killings, stressing that such events demonstrate "systemic criminal behavior" by the Russian military. He announced that he had officially notified the International Committee of the Red Cross and the UN about the incident.

According to the Ukrainian military intelligence agency (HUR), in May alone, over 150 cases were documented where Ukrainian soldiers were executed immediately after surrendering to Russian forces.
