North Macedonia's Prime Minister, Hristijan Mickoski, has reacted after the conclusion of the first round of local elections held in the country on Sunday, expressing his belief in a landslide victory for his party.
In a statement to the media after the vote in the municipality of Karposh, Mickoski said that the electoral process was conducted in a calm and dignified manner, in accordance with the civic behavior of Macedonian voters.
"I expect it to end the same way and that the results will mark another historic victory for VMRO-DPMNE and the coalition," he said.
The Prime Minister praised the civic engagement and emphasized the importance of this process for democracy in the country.
