The United States has sent several members of the United Nations Security Council a draft resolution to establish an international force in Gaza for at least two years. The draft resolution, labeled “Sensitive but Unclassified,” would give the United States and other participating countries a broad mandate to govern Gaza and provide security until the end of 2027, with the possibility of subsequent extensions.
