Iran has leveled strong accusations against the United States, questioning Washington's real intentions in peace negotiations.
During a phone call with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that recent US actions are undermining the diplomatic process and increasing tensions in the region.
According to a report by the Iranian news agency ISNA, Araghchi criticized American movements in the Persian Gulf and described them as attempts to violate the ceasefire.
"The recent provocations by US forces in the Persian Gulf and their numerous actions aimed at violating the ceasefire have raised doubts about the intentions and seriousness of the US side in the diplomatic process," the Iranian minister said.
This statement comes at a time of high tension between Tehran and Washington, while efforts to reach a peace agreement still remain uncertain.
