Tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate, as Iran has launched a new wave of attacks on American military targets in the region.
For the second night in a row, the Iranian military has reportedly targeted the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain using drones. The attack comes in response to US military operations in southern Iran that hit strategic areas such as Sirik and Bandar Abbas.
Authorities in Bahrain confirmed the activation of air raid sirens, while the security situation in the region remains extremely tense.
Meanwhile, Iran's Revolutionary Guards claim to have also attacked the Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan, which hosts US fighter jets. It said 12 ballistic missiles were fired at the base.
These developments mark another escalation in the conflict between Iran and the United States, following the attacks the previous night on several American bases in the Middle East. The situation is being followed with concern by the international community, amid fears of an expansion of the conflict in the region.
