Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço has warned that the dismantling of the "Matrix" application will bring an earthquake to politics. Today SPAK confirmed that it has started communications with partner countries to receive messages in the Albanian language and the signals are that there will be developments.
" We have not gone to the administrative levels, because that is where contraband, etc., which are not the competence of SPAK, can emerge. They must take the initiative and conduct major investigations. Not only criminal groups have used it, but also people from public institutions. Prosecutors, politicians, etc. There are judicial police officers, prosecutors who are in the process who have communicated with these applications. As long as they are there, it means that it has entered the system ," said Karamuço.
According to him, MPs and politicians used to sit around tables advertising encrypted phones.
" Encro Chat has been seen on the desks of some politicians, who said there is no phone like this. These are encrypted communications between them. They have sold their minds with these phones. Suitcases came from Italy, Israel to eavesdrop on political rivals. Some politicians may have been threatened and asked for these phones. SPAK does not yet have a connection between politics and criminal groups. There is material, but it has not been proven. We have MPs like Çyrbja, but I am talking about senior politicians ," he told "Euronews Albania".
