The bell of the monastery, a cultural monument of 'Saint George' in Saranda, has been stolen. The missing bell was noticed 2 days ago by the monastery's caretaker, David Dulaj.

Dulaj states that this bell has an extraordinary value for this monastery and cultural monument and appeals to the people who took it to return it.

The Monastery of Saint George, located on a hill above the Saranda - Ksamil road axis, near the Monastery beach, is a 250-year-old building and was built on the foundations of the ancient Dema Wall.
