A team of representatives held a meeting today with the former head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, where the focus of the discussion was strengthening cooperation between law enforcement institutions in Albania and Kosovo.
According to a statement from the British Embassy, the parties expressed satisfaction with the meeting and discussed facilitating, in the near future, the exchange of knowledge, expertise and professional experience with Kosovo's law enforcement institutions.
The meeting is considered a positive step towards increasing coordination and professional cooperation between counterpart institutions, with the aim of further strengthening the rule of law and institutional capacities in the region.
"We are pleased that our team met today with Altin Dumani, the former head of SPAK, to discuss facilitating, in the near future, the exchange of knowledge, expertise and professional experience with Kosovo's law enforcement institutions. This engagement, supported through our project, emphasizes the importance of regional cooperation and practical cooperation in strengthening the rule of law," the announcement says.
