Citizens and activists gathered this Wednesday in front of the premises of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK), where they handed over the book "Albanian Files", signed the day before by participants in the protest held in the square.
The protesters reiterated that their main demand remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, while they described the book as evidence of projects that, according to them, demonstrate violations in decision-making processes.
One of the activists said that the book contains completed, under construction and planned projects, also mentioning the Zvërnec project.
"In that book there are projects that some have been built, some others will be built. There is also the Zvërnec project that is in 2022, while Edi Rama said that there is no project. It is the weapon of crime with which Rama has destroyed Albania," said one of the activists.

Activist Sidorela Vatnikaj also spoke before SPAK, stating that the book "Albanian Files" contains 523 projects, built, under construction or planned for implementation. According to her, the document shows that public consultations have been avoided and that Law 2424 was adopted to pave the way for projects that, according to her, were foreseen years ago.
Vatnikaj emphasized that the purpose of submitting the book is to support the work of SPAK and demanded that the investigations be carried out to the end, without distinction between citizens and senior officials.
"We have in our hands the "Albanian Files", for all the projects that have been built and a part that is supposed to be built in protected areas. We have evidence that the law has been changed by order. We are talking about Albanian oligarchs. Albanian Files is the weapon of crime that Prime Minister Rama has destroyed Albania. In the coming days we are also preparing a criminal report that we will submit to the Special Prosecution Office. In this book it is clear that public consultation was avoided. In this book it is clear that the law was approved for various projects that were drafted before it was approved. In this book it is clear that there is a conflict of interest between the prime minister and architects and businesses. He is the chairman of the Territorial Council and the prime minister who decides on these projects. We are here to support SPAK, we are not here for popular justice. Rama should be treated and investigated like all other citizens," said activist Sidorela Vatnika.
The activists also warned that, in addition to handing over the book, they would also file a complaint regarding the matter.
