Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço said that by analyzing the communications of the Matrix application, many criminal and unsolved events will be revealed, which are still being investigated today, but have not yet been clarified.
Karamuço expressed his belief that with the disclosure of these communications, the fate of Ervis Martinaj will also come to light, what happened to him, whether he was killed and disappeared or lost his tracks at his own will. He reinforced this position by saying that people close to Martinaj or suspects who may have had a hand or involvement in his kidnapping or disappearance have used the Matrix communications application.
"The disclosure of Matrix communications will be a great advantage. Even Nuredin Dumani has said that they also communicated with Matrix. I think that many events that are unsolved and that are currently being investigated by the police will be revealed. Some are suspended. The fate of Ervis Martinaj, the fate of Talo Çela, may be revealed, because it is thought that they may have the same fate. I am convinced that the disclosure of Matrix communications will help to reveal Martinaj's fate, because users close to him, or those groups that the police suspect may have been involved in his possible escape or execution, have used Matrix. This adds to the advantages and premises for us to reveal this case and also the case of Talo Çela. He is also thought to have escaped or been killed and disappeared. We also have a case of a person from the south who disappeared in Tirana and is not being found. He is being sought by the police. These events, of course, if you do not reveal them when they happen, even though you may have doubts, these types of applications completely reveal them. And "This is a great luck that we have, if there are traces left on the servers ," said Karamuço.
He shared even more details about the Matrix app and how many messages were captured in 33 different languages, including Albanian.
"Of the 33 languages deduced in this system, the Albanian language also has its place. What I said before is now coming out and some questioned my statements about the Matrix system. The Matrix was coded, encrypted, you could not identify yourself, there were no external intruders. There were 40 servers in different countries. A total of 2.3 million messages in 33 languages were captured, one of which is Albanian. I said this and they said: 'No, you're wrong', 'Well, here's how things are coming out'. People need to be patient and not tell a professor 'you don't know'. It's hard. And now they're coming out". There is one positive thing. After Sky and EncroChat, which date back to March 2021, now comes Matrix, which is from 2024. "It opens up a great perspective for us to see events, phenomena and criminal groups that we have had during these years. We had a part that we could not identify, except for some repentant somewhere. But now we have genuine, written events, just like what happened with Sky and Encro ," said Karamuço. on the "Now" show on 'Euronews Albania'.
