Fell prey to pyramid schemes, 30-year-old tells how he was deceived: We invested

A 30-year-old man who invested in online pyramid schemes has revealed that he became involved in this scheme on August 16th after a friend suggested it to him.

He says that he himself invested 2 thousand euros. Along with him, 5 of his relatives also invested, bringing the total value of their investment in online platforms to 8 thousand euros.

" I joined on August 16. A friend suggested it to me because he had heard in his own circles that they had invested and made withdrawals. I have not seen anyone make a withdrawal. I invested 2,000 euros. Besides me, there are 5 other people who have invested in this platform, they are my close friends. The total amount is 8,000 euros. Until August 24, no one has withdrawn. You had to complete 1 month to get 5% back. At the time you made the correct applications, communication was via Telegram. There were 13,000 members. If you don't invest, you can't enter that group. You send your data and account balance, then verification was done and you move to group 169 ," said the 30-year-old.

Communications were made on the Telegram application, which, as the 30-year-old says, would only be integrated after you had shown proof of investing money in online platforms that turned out to be pyramid schemes. The initial investment value was 850 euros.

" Kevin was the main one, he sent signals for you to capture and increase the value of the lek. There were 8 signals a day, when you had to make an investment. The value was by the percentage you could capture. The investment value started at 850 euros and above. The more you invested, the more you benefited ."

The deceived person indicates that he currently has 5,600 euros in his digital wallet, but is convinced that he cannot withdraw it and that he has fallen prey to fraud.

"I currently have 5,600 euros in my digital wallet. We realized it was a fraud scheme but it was too late."

I myself fell prey to this online pyramid scheme, but I have an appeal for other citizens.

"I had a message for everyone, no one should invest in these pyramid schemes that simply steal people and their savings."
