One of the protesters escorted by the State Police after the incidents recorded during today's protest in front of the Parliament was released and reacted to the media immediately after leaving Police Station No. 1.
He stated that until the moment of his release he had not been informed of the official reason for the detention. The protester also said that, according to him, the participants in the rally had tried from the beginning to avoid any clashes and provocations.
"We have not received the argument yet. I wanted to let public opinion know that we have been protecting the police from any provocation from the beginning. The police are the most abused class in 36 years. We will continue the peaceful protest. Any provocation is not our part. You know very well that we have been in the front row so that there is no provocation," the protester told "News 24".
Earlier, some protesters were escorted by police following incidents in front of the Parliament. After the procedures were completed, some of them were released, while the authorities continue procedural actions related to the incident.
