Following the farmers' protest in Greece, long lines were recorded in Kakavija.
Citizens say that the movement of vehicles is extremely limited and the queues are long since the early hours of the day. For many of them, the long wait is causing inconvenience, especially for those traveling with children or who have work schedules in Greece.
According to citizens in line, Greek authorities are not speeding up procedures, while counters are operating at minimum capacity, causing temporary blockages of passage.
On the other hand, the Albanian side has continued to work normally, while the high flow of vehicles and the procedures of the Greek side are keeping a large number of travelers stranded.
The situation is expected to normalize in the coming hours, if the Greek side opens additional counters for document processing.
