The week has started with sunshine and high temperatures. Meteorologist Tanja Porja warned that the thermometer will rise to 34 degrees Celsius in some areas of the country.
"Today, maximum temperatures range from 26-28 degrees Celsius in the northern tip of Albania to 34 degrees Celsius in Elbasan and Berat. While on the coastline we have 31-32 degrees Celsius," said Porja.
The meteorology department predicts that high temperatures will continue throughout the week. On Thursday, there may be isolated rainfall in the north of the country and a slight cooling of the weather from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday, but even on these days, temperatures will remain above 30 degrees Celsius, she emphasized.
"Thursday brings some precipitation from the north, but mainly clear weather this week and the thermometer will also be at quite high values. Today we expect at least 34 degrees Celsius, and that continues throughout the week. Mornings come and heat up. Except for Friday morning. While from noon on Wednesday and until noon on Thursday we have a slight cooling of the weather conditions, but again the thermometer remains above 30 degrees Celsius, while today there is sunshine and high temperatures," said the meteorology.
According to her, the wind will blow from the southwest with light to medium intensity, most noticeable in the eastern half of the country.
