After marching through the streets of Tirana and stopping in front of Parliament, the protesters headed towards the Democratic Party headquarters, where they stood for several minutes with banners, flags, and slogans in protest.
Afterwards, they continued the march through the streets of the capital, as part of the 31st day of the civic protest, which began after 7:00 PM.
The protest began at 10:00 in front of the Parliament, where clashes occurred between protesters and police forces. In the evening, citizens gathered again at "Skënderbej" Square and marched towards the Prime Minister's Office, where speeches were given by the organizers and participants.
At their conclusion, the organizers announced that this evening's march would be shorter than usual, because the protest had started in the early hours of the day.
The route included the Tirana City Hall, the Parliament and then the headquarters of the Democratic Party. In front of the DP building, the protesters chanted a series of slogans against the political class, including: "SP, DP, a pair of communists", "Sold out opposition", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison" and "Down with the communists".
One of the organizers of the protest, Arben Kola, addressed the attendees, commenting on the tensions recorded earlier in front of the Assembly.
"For those who were not in parliament, you saw that they are asking for violence. Now and then they react independently and we do not hold them responsible. You with violence, and the citizens with violence," he said.
Another protester called on opposition representatives not to try to take the lead of the protest, emphasizing that citizens will continue it themselves.
"Don't try to take control of the protest. Fight Edi Rama in the Parliament. Don't post videos from the protest. If you want, stand side by side with us. We can fight this fight without you," the citizen said.
After stopping in front of the Democratic Party headquarters, the protesters continued their march through the streets of Tirana, concluding the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office building.
