On Wednesday, our country is expected to be affected by mainly unstable weather conditions.
According to the forecasts, the weather will be characterized by medium to dense cloudiness, accompanied by alternating clear spells after noon. Light and occasional rain is expected in the early hours of the day, continuing until noon. Short-term thunderstorms are also expected in mountainous areas.
After noon, precipitation will be more concentrated mainly in the mountainous reliefs of the eastern part of the country.
The wind will blow from the northeast to the northwest, with an average speed of about 6 m/s, while along the coastline and in valley areas it is expected to reach speeds of up to 14 m/s.
Regarding sea conditions, waves of force 2 to 3 are expected in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas.
