Altin Dumani vs. Aida Hajnaj: KLP decides tomorrow for the head of BKH...

The High Prosecutorial Council will meet tomorrow to decide on the dismissal of the director of the National Bureau of Investigation, Aida Hajnaj.

The latter was appointed 5 years ago, on August 31, and on September 1, she was supposed to hand over her duties to the new leader. However, due to the artifices, intrigues and the war behind the scenes, there is still no new leader of the BKH. This is exactly the part that is expected to cause the next conflict, as there is a clash over whether or not Hajnaj should remain in office until a successor is chosen.

KLP agenda tomorrow

Historically, but also legally, as long as there is no successor, people without a mandate always remain in office until a replacement is found, in order to avoid creating gaps. The most recent case is that of the Ombudsman, who has been in office without a mandate for 3 years. We also have other precedents in the Constitutional Court, where some judges have remained for many years without a mandate.

However, as reported by " Pamfleti ", the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, has requested that Hajnaj no longer enter the office from tomorrow. According to him, the deputy head, Joni Keta, who is also in the running for the position of director, should take over the position, and this complicates the situation even more.

Such a request has raised many doubts about what is being played, as the fear is that after Hajnaj's departure, it is not known when the new head of the BKH will be elected. Under the rug, there is talk that there are strong clashes between the 3 members of the commission for the successor, and this led to the dismissal of Arben Kraja as head of Foreign Relations. Also, the process of verifying the figure and assets has not yet begun, a process that will take a long time. Meanwhile, in December, Altin Dumani will also have to hand over the task himself.

The head of SPAK and the deputy head of BKH have good relations between them and, it seems, these months Dumani does not want any obstacles in his way, since so far Hajnaj has not allowed him to do whatever he wants.

The ball is now in the KLP's court. Tomorrow, the government of the penal sector must separate the chaff from the sugar, determining whether Hajnaj should leave permanently, or remain in office until the election of a successor. If the KLP does not decide, we will have a new clash between Hajnaj and Dumani / Pamphlet
