The Laws Committee reviews the signatures of the 7 candidates for People's Advocate today, the SP agrees with the DP

The Laws Committee is reviewing today the signatures of 7 candidates who have support for the People's Advocate and will make a decision on who and how will be put to a vote in the next session of the Assembly. 

The DP withdrew the signatures of its MPs who had expressed support for the candidates, but sources close to the SP said that the withdrawal was out of time.

The DP suddenly announced the withdrawal of signatures, arguing that the signatures were provided before the candidates passed the Laws Commission's filter.

The 7 candidates in the race are: Aranita Brahaj, Besim Ndregjoni, Jola Hysaj, Tartar Bazaj, Adriana Kalaja, Endri Shabani and Skender Haluca.

Meanwhile, SP MP Toni Gogu, after the meeting of the socialist parliamentary group, said that the SP will vote for one of the opposition's candidacies.
