Analyst Preç Zogaj stated on the show "Të Paekspozuarit" that the process that will be held on Saturday to reconfirm Sali Berisha as head of the DP cannot be called an election and said that he is going to reconfirm himself by violating the statute for himself and to the detriment of his rivals.
"These are not elections. I don't understand where Berisha is going with what he's doing. He's going to reconfirm himself by violating the statute in his own favor, and by applying articles that don't exist for those who wanted to run."
As we have seen, there have been no races in the DP. The first and only race was in 1991 between Neritan Ceka and Sali Berisha.
This is what people are called to vote for, but even if it hadn't been done, there's no problem.
"These are acts that diminish this party. I don't understand how an opposition that becomes half of the government never comes to power and is headed towards annihilation," said Zogaj.
