Journalist Ferdinand Dervishi stated on the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV that the disappearance of Ervis Martinaj is too big an event to keep secret and that many people and several criminal groups are suspected of being involved in organizing his kidnapping.
According to Dervishi, the way the issue was handled by the institutions has raised many questions, while the investigations have been dragging on since the first moments after Martinaj's disappearance.
" The disappearance of Ervis Martinaj is not an event that can be hidden, because the people who organized the kidnapping are not one or two, but 100 or 200 people, and it is difficult for someone not to come forward in the future and not to have changed a political report so that this matter is closed. It is a very big event to hide. The police went very late to investigate a villa where it was said that Martinaj had been kidnapped. Then it was said that an expertise was done, then the case was taken over by the Laçi prosecutor's office and then by the Lezha prosecutor's office. This is not an issue that a local prosecutor's office should investigate, as if Martinaj had been run over by a car. He is the victim not only of an organized group, but of several criminal groups, and this is what is hindering the entire investigation ," Dervishi declared.
The journalist also spoke about suspicions that police uniforms were used in the disappearance operation and that SPAK has data that could help solve the incident.
" Another detail is that the people who organized that large, significant event, with the involvement of the Fushë-Krujë gang, were wearing police uniforms and could have come to invade Parliament. When Martinaj disappeared, there was an application that was broken and if the tabulations and interceptions that SPAK received are revealed, then this story can be revealed. The question is whether there will be the will and desire to see it through to the end ," said Dervishi.
