Albania will experience high temperatures this week, with the peak expected to reach 37-38 degrees Celsius at noon in the coming days.
Although the weekend will bring a slight drop in temperatures, the weather will remain hot across the country.
"The morning heats up very quickly, today's noon is very hot and more or less the same will be the whole week. A hot week until Wednesday noon, then Thursday, Friday, Saturday, bring a slight cooling of the weather conditions. However, the thermometer today is 35 degrees Celsius, meanwhile it goes to 37 or 38 until Wednesday, then with a very slight drop we remain at values of 33 to 35 degrees Celsius, during the noon hours. While the nights and mornings, not only today but also in the following, remain relatively cool in the mountainous areas, however in the low and coastal areas, the morning thermometer will fluctuate from 15-16 inland, to 19-20 on the coastline" , said meteorologist Tanja Porja.
