Rigels Rajku, or otherwise Noizy, seems to have sent a signal to Edi Rama to be part of the government.
He was invited to the show Inside Albania, on Euronews Albania. The journalist asked him if he would respond to the Prime Minister's invitation, if he were to ask him to head the Ministry of Culture.
The rapper responded that he would accept it, saying that he is, according to him, a man who keeps his word and that he has not made his income as a rapper through illegal money. Noizy says that, according to him, he does not need money to use politics for other interests.
Journalist: What about you? If Rama called you and said: "Hey, will you become Minister of Culture or Deputy Minister of Youth?" would you accept?
Noizy: I 100% would. Yes? Listen, I'll tell you something about me. I may not be able to speak like a politician. It doesn't matter. But I'm a man of my word. I don't need money. I know for sure that money doesn't make me happy. Money is nothing. I've only come this far by pushing my limits to check boxes, to show people: listen, you can become very rich, or, whatever you want to call it — even in Albania, even without doing drugs. That's why I've come this far. Otherwise, I wouldn't have done it. I have enough money to live on, because nobody is starving in Albania. And I've noticed this: the more money you make, the bigger the castles you build, but you'll always want to go out and sleep under the open sky. And I think, "Damn it, why are people like this?" They're going to live in... well, they built this big villa, and what makes them happy is sleeping outside, in nature. And I say, "Wow, this is the nature of human life. It's not about luxury. It's about where you find peace."
So, if I were ever to be a politician, as Minister of Culture, as you said, or whatever, I'm a man of my word. I don't speak well, but I will keep my promises.
