Journalist Artan Hoxha, speaking about the investigation of the 'January 21' file by SPAK, stated that both political parties are complicit and do not want this event to be revealed.
To strengthen this claim, Hoxha said that Socialist Party MP Agron Malaj was carrying an automatic rifle that day. He further added that Ndrea Prendi came out of the Prime Minister's Office with a black eye, implying that someone had hit him.
" Then the issue became politicized. The moment Mr. Malaj became the coordinator of the Socialist Party in Mat, his commander in the Guard, the man who takes orders there, Alfred Damecenaj, became the chairman of the Democratic Party of Mat. So, just as one side can accuse, the other side can also accuse that he took so-and-so. But, what I want to say and close this story is that I think that today there are all the means and evidence. SPAK has the human resources, the expertise, and the political will. The situation has changed, they can't do it like they didn't even let the prosecution enter the fence back then. Today SPAK has all the possibilities to put their feet in a shoe and call them there. I have brought the evidence that set this whole thing in motion. The family's complaint was made on that, on the tape. So, today there needs to be an exhaustive investigation so that even this majority doesn't continue to mock the hypocrisy that every January 21, but to provide justice for what happened there, nor to those responsible for taking people's lives, who did what happened back then. That two new charges have been added and these are charges that are made mainly against politicians or against state officials.
The first is abuse of office in collaboration and the second is obstruction of investigations. The servers were deleted by IT, which was responsible for that matter. It took the tape that I brought. The Guard commander was wiretapped because his voice, his shots and all the communications he makes with third parties are clearly heard. So, it seems clear that the Guard commander and the orders he would give were kept under wiretap or under recording. It is said that there were no shots inside. There were no shots, but Ndrea Prendi came out of the Prime Minister's Office with a black eye. His eye was not blacked out outside, as was later said, it was blacked out inside. The matter today must be investigated exhaustively from point A to point Z. Of course, the most serious thing in what happened is the loss of human lives. That event would have been forgotten otherwise. "Everyone must bear responsibility for what happened and above all must bear responsibility for the lost lives of those four Albanians, who were not even party militants ," Hoxha said in the "Off the Record" studio on A2CNN.
