Analyst Frrok Çupi says that former Prime Minister Sali Berisha wanted the death of the former American ambassador to our country, Marisa Lino.
In an interview for "Ora e Fundit" on ABC News, Çupi said that Berisha ordered the guard to attack the ambassador's car.
"We are at a moment where the opposition is in the desert, there is nothing around the opposition. The entire opposition has landed in Brussels to prevent Albania from taking steps forward. Since Brussels has been facing the Albanian opposition, it has closed its ears and watches the hand movements of Tabaku and Berisha, but it no longer hears them. While, even in recent years, representatives of the US, the Council of Europe, knocked on the doors of the majority, the government is being formed. They have not met any of the opposition people.
The opposition in Albania is worthless. Berisha achieves everything, much of what he aims for. With this extension in the Electoral College, he postponed the certification of the elections for a few more days. Berisha is being asked to plunge Albania into a dead end, which is beyond his control. How can the US accept to have relations with Berisha, when he has committed major crimes," he stressed.
