The European Union Delegation Office in Tirana has congratulated Klodian Braho, who today officially took office as the new head of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office (SPAK).
In a reaction on social media, the EU office in Tirana, while wishing Braho success, also emphasized that the Special Prosecution Office has shown resilience to political pressures while led by Altin Dumani.
"Under his leadership, SPAK made strides forward in the fight against high-level corruption and contributed to strengthening public trust in justice," the response states.
Furthermore, the European Union office emphasizes that the fight against crime and corruption as well as respect for the rule of law are a shared responsibility, while calling on all institutions to fulfill their responsibilities.
